FUNDRAISING / ACTIVITY CHAIRPERSON

Minimum 3 Years Clean

  1. Designate Vice-Chair and Subcommittee members.

  2. Attend the Spiritual Retreat Meeting on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the each month, giving a report at each meeting.

  3. Coordinate and host fundraising events for the Spiritual Retreat. All fundraising events/activities must be approved by the Retreat Committee.

  4. Coordinate fundraising activities with the NEFA Special Events Subcommittee and Free State activities/events.

  5. Maintain an accurate and current financial record of all activities, and other related expenses.

  6. Submit all funds generated through fundraising activities/events to the Spiritual Retreat Treasurer in a timely manner.

  7. Receipts must be obtained for the expenditure of funds from the operating budget and surrendered to the Spiritual Retreat Treasurer promptly.

  8. Coordinate with the Merchandise Subcommittee Chair for fundraiser supplies/merchandise.

  9. Maintain archives of Subcommittee meeting minutes and fundraisers.

  10. Responsibility for the handling of cash at any fundraising    event/activity is the responsibility of the Fundraising Subcommittee       Chairperson. Individuals with access to cash must have at least eighteen (18) months clean time. Cash must be maintained in a secure        manner at all times.

  11. Maintain archives to be handed from Chairperson to Chairperson.

  12. Plan a variety of activities to be held at the NEFA Spiritual Retreat  (i.e. Auction, Guided Meditation, drumming circles, massages,    yoga, tournaments, games, corn hole, guided hikes, zip lining)

  13. Submit activities to the Retreat Host Committee for approval.

  14. Maintain an accurate and current financial record of all activities, and          other related expenses.

  15. Turn over all funds generated through activities to the NEFA Spiritual Retreat Treasurer in a timely manner.

  16. Maintain archives to be handed from Chairperson to Chairperson.
